Amit Bahl, MD, MPH

Amit Bahl, MD, MPH, is a board-certified Professor of Emergency Medicine with 20 years of clinical experience and is globally recognized for his expertise in emergency medicine, vascular access, and ultrasound-guided techniques. He has delivered hundreds of presentations worldwide, published over 75 peer-reviewed articles, and received over 15 competitive research grants focused on PIVC-related topics.

Steven Johnson, DO

Steven is a practicing physician who is triple boarded in emergency medicine, clinical ultrasound, and anesthesia critical care medicine. He brings over a decade of experience in researching PIVC complications. He is a nationally recognized educator and clinician. He has developed a comprehensive, free digital ultrasound curriculum that is now utilized at multiple residency training sites nationwide.

Matt Gibson, RN

Since 1993, Matt Gibson has worked in an area of nursing where vascular access was a primary and essential skill. Over the last two decades, Matt has served on the National Public Advisory Board for the Association for Vascular Access (AVA), AVA PIV task force, and has supported clinical advisory boards for multiple organizations. He serves as our teams clinical education specialist bringing decades of experience and clinical expertise to our team.

Bill Bold

Bill is an accomplished medical device executive with significant early-stage start-up and growth companies experience. Bill began his career with CR Bard in the late 1980s as a sales professional and rose to the position of VP Sales. Upon his departure he was part of initially starting PHX, the e-commerce company for Premier (GPO), merging with Medibuy.com and eventually purchased by GHX, the eCommerce engine for Healthcare today. Bill then transitioned over to helping to start Venetec international growing revenue from $1M to $36M over 4 years, and then was instrumental in selling the company for $168M in 2006.

Vance Clement

Vance serves as CEO, Founder and Board of Directors Member at Lineus Medical, a vascular access startup.  Vance started his work in medical devices in 1992, and has launched 100’s of products over his career in the implant, surgical instrument, medical software, robotics, and vascular access spaces.  Vance serves on the Scientific Advisory Board at Noxsano, a wound care medical device business, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Association for Vascular Access.  Vance was named as a Distinguished Alumni of the University College of Engineering in 2024, and named to the Arkansas Money and Politics Tech Leaders in 2022.  Vance has a Bachelor’s of Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN.

Michael Anstett, RN

Michael is an accomplished clinician, corporate executive, armed services veteran and entrepreneur. He has gained extensive business knowledge, providing input into the R&D process by working with engineers, regulatory and marketing on the development of new products and the vetting new concepts for acquisition.  Michael is named on multiple medical device patents and is a member and strong supporter of the Association for Vascular Access (AVA). He currently serves as founder and Chief Clinical Officer of SkyDance Vascular, Inc. – inventor of the Osprey vascular access device.
